Displaying code in a WordPress blog

Does anybody know of a neat way to present code in a hosted WordPress blog ?

It’s quite desperate when you can’t display code properly on a coder’s blog.

I’ve been using WP-syntax on mine with great results. It uses GeSHi to highlight syntax, so it supports a ton of languages too

Oh, I have no idea about wordpress.com hosted stuff… Perhaps you could use GitHub’s Gist? I think you can create a gist (basically a pastebin thing in case you’re not familiar) and embed it on your page – Seen it on a few pages, uses JavaScript so it should work if you just paste it in your post when writing it. Downside is that it makes code samples not show at all in the RSS feed.

is it selfhosted blog? or a sub blog from wordpress.com? if its a self hosted one you can simply add a div to the page when your creating one and add some styles to it. hope it helps.
